My name is Sarah Bishop, and I am a professional singer, actor, dancer, musician and teaching artist! I love connecting with singers to find their strongest, healthiest voice. I work with a wide variety of singers, from seasoned Broadway and music industry professionals, to those who are just starting to find their sound! The voice is a vulnerable thing, and I've noticed the importance of establishing a nurturing and safe learning environment. I have made it my mission to not only help student's grow their voice, but encourage them to truly feel seen, and free to express who they are.
While studying the voice, it’s easy to leave a voice lesson saying, “well, I sang well during my lesson, but why? Why am I having trouble re-creating that when I really need it?” I’ve discovered that even advanced singers can feel the frustration of not having complete understanding of their instrument. Let’s find your balanced and healthiest sound in every style so that you can feel prepared for a big performance or audition. Explore your authentic head, chest and mixed voice through all styles including musical theater, pop, rock, folk and R&B! I'm here to help you sing consistently and confidently in you truest sound.
