Sarah teaches primarily online, but is not currently offering private lessons at this time. Sarah occasionally offers in person workshops in New York City. Please use the contact form or join the email list to learn when those workshops take place.

Jeremy and Lily both teach online. Jeremy offers in-person lessons in New York City.

Once a student books their lesson through the scheduling link, they should receive a confirmation email detailing the sound setting adjustments. When booking with Lily or Jeremy, you will need to send payment to either their Venmo or PayPal accounts BEFORE the start of your lesson to receive the zoom link and confirm your lesson. Please always use a laptop when using zoom. Skype and Facetime are also acceptable means of connecting with our teachers during a lesson, however you will not be able to record your lesson while using FaceTime unless you use a separate audio recording device. If the student prefers either method, they may email their teacher once their lesson is scheduled.

When you schedule your appointment via the website with Sarah, you will be prompted to pay through Stripe, a secure platform that protects your credit card information. When scheduling with Lily or Jeremy, you will book without paying on the site and Venmo or PayPal them separately to confirm your appointment.

Their payment details are on the booking page. Once Jeremy or Lily receive your payment, they will send over a zoom link. Lessons are not confirmed until payment is received.

Please use a laptop in order to be able to adjust your sound settings. Bring water and any sheet music or accompaniment you would like to use during the lesson. Sarah, Lily and Jeremy teach via Zoom and Skype. If you’re using Zoom, it’s important that you use a computer and enable your Original Sound so our teachers can hear you properly. *Please note: a phone or tablet will NOT work for zoom lessons because the sound quality will be bad as it’s not possible to adjust the Original Sound setting on those devices. This setting can be adjusted on your laptop/computer in the Audio tab of your zoom account. If you need help enabling this setting, our teachers can help you with it during your lesson. If you have accompaniment, you will need to play the music on your end on a separate device. Send Sarah any sheet music you will be using in advance via email prior to the lesson.

Zoom and Skype both allow the ability to record. If you need to use Facetime or WhatsApp, please note that you can not simultaneously record and will need a separate recording device. Recording is highly encouraged for practicing after your lesson

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If cancellation or rescheduling is made prior to the 24 hour window, the student may receive a full credit or refund. If a cancellation or reschedule is made within the 24 hour window, the student is responsible for the entire lesson fee.
